Harry Lyne Sumampong, a 21-year-old from Cebu, Philippines, started her academic journey as a STEM student with a budding interest in computer-related fields. However, like many students, she wasn’t entirely sure which career path to pursue—until she discovered eduCLaaS.

Harry’s biggest concern with a traditional degree was the lack of real-world experience. In the Philippines, many jobs require prior work experience—something fresh graduates often lack after spending four years purely studying.
“A lot of jobs here require employees who already have experience, which is impossible for fresh graduates. That’s what’s special about eduCLaaS—even as students, we’re already gaining work experience.”

After completing the bootcamp, Harry transitioned into a paid apprentice as a Marketing Associate at eduCLaaS. Over two years, she experienced all sides of marketing —starting with campaign management before moving to content marketing, where she discovered her passion for writing and strategy.
Along the way, she mastered essential tools like Figma and HubSpot while developing adaptability in a fast-changing work environment.

“In the campaign team, I learned how to optimize and launch ads. Now in content marketing, I enjoy brainstorming ideas for blogs and social media. Every role has taught me something new.”
Confidence in the Future: Career and Financial Growth
One of the biggest benefits of eduCLaaS’ model is that Harry earns while she learns, helping her pay for her education while gaining experience.
With graduation approaching, Harry feels confident about her career prospects. Unlike traditional graduates who enter the job market with little experience, she already has two years of hands-on work in digital marketing.
Looking ahead, she plans to continue in digital marketing but also dreams of starting her own business in the future.
“What I earn from my job goes directly to my tuition. My family loves that I’m practically paying for my own studies.”
